Nominees for Legal 500 Scotland Awards 2024
We are delighted to announce that several members of Compass Chambers have been shortlisted for the Legal 500 Scotland Awards 2024.
The awards aim to recognise and reward law firms, solicitors, in house legal departments, advocates and clerks across a range of different practice areas, celebrating their achievements over the last 18 months.
The shortlists and winners are based on the Legal 500’s independent research for their annual UK Guide and Compass members appear in the following categories:
Silk of the Year - Lesley Shand KC and Murdo Macleod KC
Junior of the Year - Emma Toner
Clerk of the Year - Gavin Herd
Compass Chambers is also shortlisted for Stable of the Year and Clerking Team of the Year.
Winners will be selected by a judging team led by The Legal 500 UK Regions editor Amy Ulliott, UK Regions deputy editor Sophie Chan, UK research manager Ben Wheway and head of in-house research Joe Boswell.
The award ceremony is on the 28th of November at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh.
