Compass Chambers recognised by Chambers UK in Core Areas of Practice
Compass Chambers is delighted to once again have been ranked Band 1 as a set in our core areas of Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Health & Safety in the 2017 edition of the Chambers UK Bar Directory which was published today. In addition to the set rankings, Compass members have achieved a total of 31 individual rankings across the area. Compass remains the only set in Scotland ranked Band 1 in Personal Injury and Health & Safety.
For Personal Injury, the directory states that Compass is “unanimously considered a market-leading stable for personal injury work in Scotland” and also says that Compass have “a very good collection of people who are all real experts in their respective fields.” 20 members are ranked individually in the area including Robert Milligan who is recognised as a Star Individual.
For Clinical Negligence, the directory states that Compass “has an established reputation for handling the full spectrum of medical negligence cases for both claimants and defendants” Compass has a total of 7 members ranked individually in the area including Astrid Smart who is recognised as a Star Individual.
For Health & Safety, the directory states that Compass is “the leading health and safety stable in Scotland” and it “has a strong reputation for its specialist expertise in this area”. Compass is also praised for its “excellent service and readiness to offer solutions”. 4 members are ranked in this area including Peter Gray QC who is recognised as a Star Individual.
There is also praise for the clerking team with the directory stating “"The clerks are very good, You can rely on them to get the job done. You can't fault them." “The whole team works together really well."
