Ross joined Compass Chambers as a Lord Hope Scholar. He is a Writer to His Majesty’s Signet and tutors Civil Litigation at the University of Glasgow.

Ross has been instructed as Counsel to the Eljamel and NHS Tayside Inquiry, and has been instructed to represent the Care Inspectorate in the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry.

His practice spans catastrophic injury, clinical negligence, and fatal accident inquiries. Ross brings a forensic and thorough approach to complex litigation, combined with the sensitivity that cases of this nature demand.

In his personal time, Ross enjoys flying — he was one of the UK’s youngest pilots to fly a private aircraft solo at the age of 16.
