Hugh called to the bar in 2021, having trained and practiced at litigation firm Clyde & Co.

He has experience of a large range of personal injury work including catastrophic injury claims, employer and public liability claims, road traffic accidents, foreign claims, occupational disease, occupational stress, credit hire claims and historical child abuse. He has extensive experience and a particular interest in the quantification of catastrophic injury claims and the application of the Ogden Tables.

Since calling to the bar, Hugh has developed a particular interest in clinical negligence, and is regularly instructed on behalf of both pursuers and defenders.
