“The advocates at Compass Chambers are the cream of the Scottish personal injury and regulation Bar” – Legal 500

Members of Compass Chambers have considerable experience and expertise in appearances before disciplinary tribunals relating to a wide variety of professions.

Our advocates have acted for and against doctors, dentists, nurses, solicitors, advocates, accountants, actuaries and teachers before their respective regulatory bodies. Members also act as assessors, providing general legal advice to disciplinary panels in relation to procedure. We regularly appear before the courts in relation to appeals.

“The advocates at Compass Chambers are the cream of the Scottish personal injury and regulation Bar” according to Legal 500 2015. Individual members are praised for their “first-rate advocacy abilities”, “great manner with clients” and “meticulous attention to detail”.

In this area as with others, we offer the facility of direct access via the Faculty of Advocates' Direct Access Rules. We aim to provide an efficient and cost effective referral and advisory service.
