PRACTICE
Craig's practice at the bar is primarily in reparation work for both pursuers and defenders. In addition, he has a practice in judicial review concerning prisoners' rights and regularly appears in criminal cases. Craig regularly appears in the Outer House of the Court of Session and in the Sheriff Court.
Craig recently appeared for the patient in the Inner House case of Scottish Ministers v. MM [2009] CSIH 66, concerning the interpretation of restriction and compulsion orders under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003.
Craig has recently given CPD talks on 'The new Sheriff Court personal injury rules', 'Fatal accident inquiries and the Cullen report', and 'Damages and the remoteness of criminal acts'.

Solicitor in an Edinburgh court practice firm for 5 years with a wide caseload, including criminal practice, mental health, general civil practice and extradition. Craig had a particular interest in statutory applications and appeals, including Anti-social behaviour orders, Sexual offence prevention orders and adults with incapacity applications.
